Paris de l’Etraz, Managing Director, has spent over 20 years in investment banking and venture capital, mainly at UBS Bank and ABN AMRO. In 1999, he receieved his first of two patents regarding contact networking. Since 2005, he has continued to be in the business of either raising funds, setting up new companies, selling or buying companies through his group Amazing Lab. He has a keen interest for what makes an entrepreneur and what he/she needs to succeed. In particular he has focused on seed capital, in digital marketing, sports management, video games, renewable energy and new technology industries.

Liz Fleming, Deputy Director, has spent most of her career in the Seed Capital industry as an Investment Advisor with Enterprise Ireland and Programme Manager for Ireland´s national Business Angel Network, HBAN. Over the last 3 years she has worked indirectly with over 200+ High Potential Start Ups and has brokered 12 investments securing €3 million in seed capital.

The Venture Lab Selection Committee

The Venture Lab Selection Committee is made up of a number of serial entrepreneurs, early stage investors, and representatives from our Mentor Network who evaluate the Venture Lab Accelerator projects and entries for the Venture Days.  Our Selectoin Committee includes Ali Partovi, serial entrepreneur and angel investor involved globally successful technology companies such as Link Exchange, iLike, Facebook, Zappos, and Dropbox.
